Volunteer Christian Builders will be here this Friday and Saturday to help work on the inside our Multi-Purpose Building. If you would can help this Saturday, please show up around 8:30 a.m. Any help will be greatly appreciated. The classrooms and restrooms will be a high priority inside.30 or 9 a.m. Saturday morning. Anytime you can be of help, please contact Don Norris at 855-2689. One outside project we will need help with are the sidewalks and patio connecting the existing building and the new building. Our goal is to complete the building and have it paid for, so let's all pitch in and do what we can. God is able to do over and above what we even dream possible!
Mission '09 to Greeley, Colorado is fast approaching! Our group of 16 will be leaving Friday, June 26 and arriving back on July 4th. We are assisting New Life Community Church (Southern Baptist) in Greeley. We will be canvassing neighborhoods, hosting Community Block parties each night. Please pray that God will use our people in an amazing way during that week. The church provides us a place to stay during the week. We will be preparing our own food each day. If you would like to help out with supplies for the Mission trip....we are asking for donations to be given instead of food items. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to support Mission '09, we are taking orders for cheesecakes from Chick-fil-a. The very last day to turn in orders is Sunday, June 21st. Each cheesecake costs $20. If you want to order, please call the church office or Bro. Kip (phone numbers listed below). We place orders on Monday mornings and pick up the orders each Thursday. Thank you for all those who have already helped.
The Wednesday Night Adult Prayer group will continue meeting throughout the summer. The June 17th meeting place will be at Henry and Pat Adrion's home. Join us for a vital hour of praying and studying. If you need a spiritual boost during the week, join us in ministry on at 6 p.m.
We continue to bring hope to every heart through praying, caring and sharing the love of Jesus Christ through the ministry of First Baptist. By Resurrection Sunday, 2010, we join with thousands of churches in Texas in sharing Christ with everyone in our state.
Our Sunday schedule:

Our ministry assistant, Karen Preston, is available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9a.m. until 1p.m. If no one is at the office when you come by at any other time, my cell phone number is listed below. Mornings are the best time to catch someone at the office. Ministry does call us to be out throughout the week at various times.
